Haverhill Roll of Honour WWII
Can You Help Us?
A Roll of Honour, in remembrance of the thirty-six servicemen and woman on the town’s World War Two Memorial, is being planned by members of the Haverhill Group of Suffolk Family History Society.
Relatives and friends of those named are invited to share with us information about their all too brief lives, both before and after they joined up: including family, where they lived & worked, their pastimes, as well as service history.
If you have any family stories, photographs of those named or their families or any artifacts do please share them with us.
Names as inscribed on the memorial:
It’s hoped to display our work on the Haverhill Roll of Honour for both WW1 and WW2 in 2014 – the centenary and 75thanniversary year of the start of World War 1 & World War 2.
