Yule Fest: Free Seasonal Enjoyment at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village
Monday, 3rd November 2008.
The ever-popular Yule Fest returns to West Stow Country Park on Sunday 9 and Sunday 16 November, with Christmas shopping, live music and free entry to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village.
The doors open between 11am and 4pm, when mince pies and mulled wine will be on offer, while local celidh band RSVP will be providing live traditional music between 12pm and 3pm.
Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with the wide range of unusual seasonal gifts on offer, both from the new crafts stalls in Angles Café and from the West Stow Heritage Shop. Many of the items are unavailable elsewhere, providing an interesting alternative to the usual high street brands!
On both Yule Fest days, all visitors will be offered FREE ENTRY to the Anglo-Saxon Village, where they can see the reconstructed Anglo-Saxon houses and an amazing display of archaeological finds.
Please contact the Visitor Centre on 01284 728718 or weststow@stedsbc.gov.uk for further details.
