Woman fights off iPod robber

A woman fought off a man who attacked her and tried to rob her of her iPod on Sunday morning near Cambridge Close, Haverhill.
The woman was walking along a dirt track between 9.20am and 9.30am when the man approached her from behind and demanded her iPod.
He pushed her to the ground and assaulted her but she hid her iPod from him and when she started stamping on the ground he ran off empty-handed.
The man was described as of mixed race, in his late teens, 5ft 10in tall and of medium build with blue eyes and stubble, and he was wearing a light-coloured hooded top, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms with stripes down the sides and gloves.
