Woman Died Before Tumour Was Found

A HAVERHILL woman died from a rare tumour before doctors could find out what was wrong with her, an inquest has heard.
Despite extensive tests and examinations by experts at West Suffolk Hospital, the tumour that killed Kathleen Pipe was not found until after her death.
The 65-year-old grandmother was well known in Haverhill, having run a fish and chip shop there for 30 years. She died on February 3.
Greater Suffolk Coroner Dr Peter Dean recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
