Woman charged with Castle Lane murder

The Haverhill woman found injured in the Castle Lane home of a 77-year-old man has been charged with his murder.
Yesterday evening Suffolk Police charged the woman following the murder of Paul Norfolk who was found dead in the house on Friday night.
Bunthawee Rimmer, aged 49, from Castle Lane, Haverhill, has been charged with the murder of Mr Norfolk and will appear before Bury St Edmunds Magistrates Court this morning.
Police entered the house after a neighbour expressed concern about Mr Norfolk, and found him dead.
The woman was seriously injured and taken to hospital, but released into police custody on New Year's Day, when she was questioned on suspicion of murder.
A court gave police an extension to her custody yesterday morning so they could continue their questioning, and yesterday evening they charged her.
