Witnesses sought after man approached girl, 13

Police in Haverhill are appealing for witnesses following an incident where a teenage girl was approached by a man as she was walking home.
The incident happened at around 3.25pm on Tuesday.
The 13-year-old girl was walking along Connaught Road in Haverhill when she was approached by a man who started talking to her and then suggested he walk her home. The man then ran off.
The approach from the man may have been purely innocent but police are keen to speak to him about his actions.
The man is described as white, of stocky build, and in his early 20s, he had blue eyes and was around 5ft 7in tall. He wore a black beanie hat, camouflage jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
