Walsham end Rovers' good run

RIDGEONS LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION: Walsham-Le-Willows 3 Haverhill Rovers 1, match report.
Walsham made it three wins on the trot to put a halt to Haverhill's four wins on the bounce with some clinical finishing.
The away side actually took the lead in the 33rd minute, Scott Wilby putting in a cross that Stuart Wardley headed towards goal.
Haverhill striker Shaun Banham then proceeded to jump in front of home goalkeeper Duncan McAnally and do enough to legally distract him from stopping Wardley from putting his side in front.
This lead lasted less than 30 seconds, however, as Walsham equalised shortly after the restart, James Tatham's shot from left of goal deflecting square across the goal for Liam Bolton, who managed to find the net despite the unrushing defenders.
The hosts took the lead after 35 minutes to end a flurry of goals, Steve Holder putting a ball over the head of defender Sam Holmes for Ben Soanes to take forward.
Debuting goalkeeper Paul Rutherford was able to smother the ball at his feet but the ball ran for Tatham to score his 12th Ridgeons goal this season.
The win was sealed ten minutes after the break when Tatham cut the ball back for Bolton to score under pressure.
