One of the largest organisations in Haverhill, the University of the Third Age (U3A), will be holding an open day next month for the public to see what they have to offer.
The open day will be on Tuesday, September 30, at Haverhill Arts Centre, from 10am to 12.30pm.
The U3A, which celebrates its 20tha anniversay this year, is for the retired and semi-retired and it will showcase the activities of the 45 groups, such as walking, history, art, music, literature, games and many others.
Also throughout September, there will be examples of the work of the photographic and art groups in the bistro area.
The U3A membership fee is £10 a year which gives you a monthly meeting with a speaker and the opportunity to join groups of your choice.
Members will give everyone a warm welcome and all groups will be on hand to offer advice and support.
