Two burglars seen making getaway

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in the Chalkstone area of Haverhill.
Two offenders were disturbed after breaking into a house in Stockley Close between 3.30pm and 4pm on Friday, January 6. They got in by smashing a rear window and, once inside, made a search of the property.
The pair were then disturbed by a man entering the house and were seen getting away via the back door and over the rear garden fence.
The first offender is described as a black male, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8in tall, aged around 20, of athletic build with medium length black hair and wearing grey tracksuit bottoms. The second offender is described as a tall white male.
It is believed some items of jewellery were stolen during the burglary.
