Troopers Storm the Place Farm Fete
Sunday, 9th July 2006.
Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers were the centre of attraction at the Place Farm Primary School Fete today.
Pupils from the school put on fancy dress for a carnival parade which left the Market Square at 9:45am and led to Camps Road and the school playing field.
The main arena saw the judging of the fancy dress and performances from children from the Lisa Mason School of Dance and the Millennium Majorettes.
Other attractions included bouncy castles, remote control car racing, raffles, stalls and the Haverhill fire service brought along a fire engine for children to explore.
