Town's MP launches his online surgery
Tuesday, 15th May 2012.
Haverhill's MP Matthew Hancock is this week launching his new online surgery in full.
The online surgery provides a new way for constituents to contact their MP, if they need help or want to make their views known.
The surgery is designed to make contacting Matthew easier for constituents and for Matthew to be able to respond to them more quickly.
It will also provide Matthew with the tools to see what the greatest concerns are in areas of his constituency, as well as more general opinions on important national issues.
This is in addition to normal face-to-face surgeries, and the letters and emails Matthew reads and responds to daily.
The online surgery is accessible from the home page of Matthew’s website or at http://www.matthewhancock.co.uk/online-surgery
It has been specifically designed for Matthew to help him serve his constituents as effectively as possible.
Matthew said: “Whatever happens in Westminster, my first priority as West Suffolk's MP is representing my constituents and helping solve problems.
“I hold regular surgeries, and daily read and respond to constituents letters and emails. Of course the internet is not for everyone, and I always enjoy meeting constituents face to face.
"This new online surgery will add to the ways constituents can contact me, and help me to do my job as well as possible.”
