Touch of colour for pre-school children
Thursday, 18th January 2001.
CHILDREN at the Hamlet Croft Pre-School group in Haverhill have started the New Year with colourful new play equipment.
New colour co-ordinated tables and chairs, plus a new slide and water trough, were bought after the group was awarded a grant from the Millennium Festival Awards for All.
The group also received a grant from Haverhill Town Council to help with training courses which are now a legal requirement.
Angela Millar, the Deputy Town Mayor, visited this week to see the new set-up.
The group is open every Monday to Thursday morning.
