Tory and UKIP councillors in second joint surgery

Two of Haverhill's county councillors will be holding a joint surgery next Saturday, and it will again be crossing a party divide.
Cllr Anne Gower, Conservative, and Cllr Tony Brown, UKIP, will be getting together to meet residents who have any issues they would like to raise.
Cllr Gower said: "Cllr Tony Brown and I are holding our second surgery together in the Haverhill Library on Saturday, October 26.
"We deal with issues across both county and borough councils and can direct you to other organisations if they are more appropriate.
"If you are not sure if your problem is something we can deal with then please do drop in and have a word and we can then see if we can help.
"We are also intending to hold another surgery at the library, if this one is not convenient, on Saturday, December 14.
"We look forward to seeing any residents who would like to come along. If your issue is confidential please contact either of us and we can arrange to meet separately from the surgery."
