Thieves target more careless people

Thieves have been taking advantage of careless people in Haverhill again over the weekend, stealing items fromm an unlocked garage and an unlocked car.
The burglary of a garage occurred between 5.30pm on Saturday and 8am next morning at an address in Henry Close.
It is believed the burglars got into the garage through an unlocked side door and various items were stolen including a Kercher pressure washer, a Silvercross combination pram/buggy, bags of fishing tackle, a Hoover carpet shampoo cleaner and some frozen food.

Police are also appealing for witnesses after a theft from a vehicle between 8.30am and 2pm on Saturday in Greenfields Way.
An unlocked black Ford Escort Estate was entered and a sub-woofer speaker was ripped out of the boot.
Police would like to remind motorists to always keep their vehicles locked and secure.
