Thieves target Downs Place

Haverhill police are investigating a series of thefts in the Downs Place area, off Withersfield Road in Haverhill, overnight on Wednesday.
Three incidents are being linked, one theft from a car and two thefts from front gardens.
Between 8.15pm on Wednesday and 10am yesterday thieves broke into an orange Renault Megane in the Rose and Crown/Darzi clinic car park by smashing a window and stole a bag which was later found in Downs Place.
In Downs Place, between 10.30pm and 6am, two 3ft fir trees and a hanging basket were stolen from a front garden.
Also in Downs Place, between 11pm and 6am, baby toiletry bags were stolen from a pram in the front garden of a house. One was later found in Downs Crescent.
