Thieves break into containers

Police are linking two thefts from containers in Withersfield Road, Haverhill, over last weekend.
Both happened between late Friday afternoon and early Monday morning. One was in the car park next to the Rose and Crown, and the other at Horace Eves Close, the sheltered accommodation currently a building site while it is being refurbished.
In the first case thieves broke into the container by damaging the door, but took nothing. In the second case they broke in and stole tools and copper piping.
