Teenage girl fights off attacker on Chalkstone estate

A 13-year-old girl fought off an attacker on the Chalkstone estate on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at around 11.45am when the girl was walking along an alleyway near to Wortham Place and a man approached her.
The man pushed her against some bushes and then grabbed her around the neck, but the girl kicked out at him and he then ran off in the direction of Chalkstone Way.
The man is described as white, aged 25-30. He wore a black hooded top with the hood up, dark blue jeans with a rip in the knee and gloves.
