Students show driving ambition from behind the wheel
Thursday, 7th December 2000.
SIXTH Formers from Haverhill got some lessons behind the wheel last week from the British School of Motoring as part of a series of activities.
More than 2000 Sixth formers from Samuel Ward and Castle Manor Upper Schools took part in an Enhancment Week which gave them the chance to try different activities.
During the week there was also a health and fitness day, with exercise and yoga sessions and a mini enterprise day, when groups of students formed their own company to produce a product and sell it.
The week ended with a visit to the London Eye.
