Stars at Haverhill

The event takes place tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday at the Manor Road Club, with play beginning at 10am each day.
From the world rankings will be England players Gary Smith and Andy Thomson, the former double world champion, as well as East Anglian favourites Greg Harlow (Ely) and Mervyn King (Norfolk).
Fellow England Internationals John Rednall and Mark Royal will each bring a partner to try to win part of the overall prize money of more than £3,000.
Haverhill hopes to make it an annual top tournament and bring in more of the top stars of the sport for local bowlers to pit their considerable skills against.
It has been sponsored by eXpographics, of Halstead, Essex, who specialise in exhibition panels and backdrops for stage and television.
On finals day on Sunday, Thomson and Smith will sign copies of the Special Edition Millennium Book about top bowlers from around the world.
Entry is free for the inaugural tournament, with doors open at 9.15 am and refreshments available all day.
