Stand by for more about changes in county council services
Monday, 22nd November 2010.
The county council intends to reveal tomorrow more about its plans to redesign the way public services are delivered, including hiving them off to other providers in an effort to avoid the need for cuts year on year.
Following the full meeting of Suffolk County Council in September, officers and councillors have been talking with organisations, communities and individuals to listen to their views and provide further information on the so-called New Strategic Direction.
A report released tomorrow will set out the progress made to date in relation to the NSD, in particular with the engagement activity which is ongoing across the county.
The report will be debated by the full council when it meets on December 2.
