Richard Spring Demands Action Following A1307 Accident
Tuesday, 22nd July 2008.
Following the recent tragic accident on the A1307, which took place on Saturday 19th July, local MP, Richard Spring has sent an open letter to Mark Lloyd, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire County Council.
He writes:
"This weekend we have had yet another tragic accident on this road where there were terrible deaths and injuries.
I would like a full summary of what progress Cambridgeshire County Council is making to improve safety along the notorious stretch of road between Haverhill and Cambridge, as so many of my constituents are affected.
We cannot continue with this carnage on this road and I want an urgent detailed breakdown of what you are doing about this."
