Residents woken by burglars trying to break in
Tuesday, 3rd June 2014.
Police are appealing for information after an attempted burglary in Haverhill.
The incident occurred at around 2.25am this morning at a house in Vange Place.
The occupants were asleep upstairs when they were woken by a noise coming from the rear patio doors consistent with the lock being tried.
They shouted out which caused the offenders to flee and marks were found on the door close to the lock. No entry was gained to the property.
