Replica weapons valued at £4,500 stolen in burglary
Monday, 9th December 2013.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Haverhill during which replica guns were stolen.
The incident occurred between 9.30am and 10pm Thursday in Elm Close.
A rear window was forced to gain entry to the property and a number of imitation firearms and air weapons were stolen, consisting of 19 replica handguns, three air rifles, and AK-47 and Uzi replicas.
Telescopic sights and a hunting knife were also stolen. The total value of these items is in more than £4,500.
Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area, has any information relating to this incident, or has been offered any of these items to buy, is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
