Organisers are preparing for the biggest Remembrance Day Parade yet in Haverhill on Sunday November 12th.
Everyone is welcome to join in the parade, which will be led by the Bury Sea Cadets Band, and assemble at the carpark behind Haverhill Arts Centre at 1.30pm, to move off at 2.15pm down the High Street.
Older veterans can join the parade at the council offices in Lower Downs Slade and continue to the cemetary.
Town Mayor Ann Thomas will take the salute outside the council offices as the parade returns for a service at St Mary's Church. At around 4pm there will be a reception at Haverhill Library.
The Haverhill Royal British Legion branch will hold its AGM on Wednesday November 15th at the Mount Pleasant Club in Withersfield Road at 8pm. All members are welcome.
