Recruitment agency expands its team
Thursday, 29th November 2012.
Haverhill’s longest-serving recruitment agency 1st Stop, has expanded its operation in the town and welcomed two new members of staff.
Recruitment consultant Lily Bagshaw and sales and marketing assistant Keeley Smith have joined director Lesley Whiting, business development manager Katrina Smith, apprentice recruitment consultant Rachel Anderson, resourcer Victoria Naxton-Kiddle and payroll administrator Anne Jillings.
The expansion of the team, based at Jubilee Walk above Select, means 1st Stop can grow while continuing to offer a very personalised service to clients and jobseekers.
To celebrate the arrival of Lily and Keeley, 1st Stop is holding a New Year Resolutions Open Day on Saturday, December 1, at its Jubilee Walk office for candidates looking for employment now or in the New Year to register with the team.
Lesley said: “The time is right to expand and by adding Lily and Keeley to the team we can continue to grow and offer our clients the tailored service they like and expect from 1st Stop while taking on more clients.
“When I set up the company I wanted to ensure that as recruitment professionals we maintained the highest standards by listening to and finding candidates the position that they want rather than sending them to unsuitable interviews.
"Successful recruitment is all about marrying businesses and jobseekers to ensure the right people with the right skills get the right job.”
The company is contracted by some of the largest companies in the town to small independents.
Lesley, who has 25 years of experience in recruitment having worked for a national recruitment agency, added: “We have been successful because the team go above and beyond the normal recruitment agency role and we offer a one-stop-shop for company recruitment needs.
"For candidates we offer CV and job interview coaching. For clients we provide an out-of-hours service, we transport candidates to client bookings, we test candidates and give advice on HR issues and employment law.”
