Tuesday, 13th November 2012.
After Princess Anne and the Rt Hon Eric Pickles, the latest high-profile visitor to Haverhill is to be BBC Radio 4’s enduring favourite Any Questions?
Hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby, the programme will be broadcast live from Samuel Ward Academy on Friday, November 23, and free tickets are still available.
The programme, which was hosted by Haverhill Arts Centre five years ago, features four panellists, with questions from members of the audience.
Two panellists confirmed so far are the shadow secretary of state for climate change, Caroline Flint, and the Speakers Chaplain of the House of Commons and most likely candidate to be the Church of England’s first female bishop, the Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin.
If you want to attend you can get tickets via swa@samuelward.co.uk or 01440 760333, and you need to be at the academy for a 6.45pm start. The broadcast begins at 8pm and can be heard on Radio 4, with a repeat at 1pm on Saturday.
Questions for the event can be written on the ticket you will receive and be put into a receptical for processing by the production team on the evening.
