Puppet fun for the kids
Thursday, 7th September 2000.
A PUPPET Show version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears kept youngsters at Haverhill’s Arts Centre fascinated.
Around 130 children enjoyed the show, which was the last of a series of seven summer events for children at the centre, as part of the town council’s Summer in Haverhill programme.
The final show was by the On the Other Hand group and based on Frank Muir’s mad version of the classic fairy tale.
It featured two actors and a host of puppets with music and song.
The programme ended on Sunday with Newmarket Town Band on the Recreation Ground Bandstand.
