Private tenants asked to tell of their experience
Monday, 8th April 2013.
Housing professionals tasked with tackling homelessness in West Suffolk are asking private tenants to help them by completing a short on-line survey.
The information gained will be used to create tenancies for those in urgent housing need.
The confidential survey is being run by the West Suffolk Lettings Partnership, part of the joint housing service of Forest Heath and St Edmundsbury councils, that has created 30 tenancies in the private rented sector since it was established in November.
St Edmundsbury and Forest Heath District Councils' landlord Liaison officer, Darryl Durno, said: “If you are renting, or have looked at renting privately, we would be grateful if you could spend just five minutes completing the short survey, by visiting the Forest Heath or St Edmundsbury council websites or going to facebook /WSLettingsPartnership or Twitter @WSLettings.
"We will use the information you give us about your experience, good or bad, to help create more private tenancies for those in need.”
If you are a private landlord or letting agent and would like to work with us, contact West Suffolk’s Landlord Liaison Officer, Darryl Durno on 01284 757605 or email landlords@westsuffolk.gov.uk.
