Private rental company triumphs at national awards
Wednesday, 1st December 2010.
Haverhill-based company CXG has been voted the winner of the Property Sourcing Award for 2010 in the prestigious Landlord & Letting Awards.
CXG came third in Letting Agent by region and sixth for Innovation in the national awards.
Director Robin Pilley said: “We are absolutely thrilled to win this award. The competition was really tough, so this accolade really is testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone at CXG.
"This achievement has really spurred us on and we will continue to build on our expertise and deliver high quality levels of service across the private rented sector.”
Oliver Romain, editor of Landlord & Buy-to-Let magazine and lead judge for the Awards, commented: “The Landlord & Letting Awards are the premier nationwide private rented sector awards in the UK, and it’s great to be able to recognise and reward the best in the industry.
"This year’s response was phenomenal, with over 550 entries received, so CXG has done brilliantly to win their category.”
Trophies were presented by landlord, businessman and TV presenter Craig Phillips at a gala dinner and disco held at the Hilton Hotel, Birmingham NEC, recently.
CXG are hoping that their local MP Matthew Hancock will officially present them with their trophy to mark the event and to highlight that, despite these difficult times, companies who are proactive and offer high levels of service to their customers can still progress.
CXG are looking to recruit more staff in the new year and have supported the Government apprenticeship scheme.
