An important Haverhill area business is ending a successful year on a celebratory note.

One of the eastern region’s leading pool builders, Neptune Swimming Pools, based in Clare, has once again received the approval of SPATA, the UK industry watchdog for pool building standards.

The Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) has been recognised in the industry, both in the UK and overseas, for over 45 years and provides the definitive set of standards governing the construction and operation of pools, spas, saunas and steam rooms which are widely respected and applied by the trade, as well as architects and builders.

SPATA members are subject to regular and rigorous scrutiny every three years to ensure all pool construction and maintenance conforms to SPATA specifications.

Following a recent stringent inspection by SPATA, Neptune Swimming Pools has received recognition and full SPATA membership approval. The SPATA report highlighted high standards for Neptune Pools in both swimming pool construction and finishes.

With Christmas just around the corner, the team took time out from a busy schedule to celebrate their SPATA validation and the culmination of a very successful year.

The chosen venue was the Maison Talbooth Hotel in Dedham, which boasts a luxury pool with a definite wow factor, built and maintained by Neptune Pools.

The company, which has built a number of pools in the Haverhill area, has enjoyed a surprisingly successful year despite the recession, which does not seem to have hit its target market.
