Police want to hear from people who helped robbery victim
Tuesday, 1st April 2014.
Two people have been arrested following a robbery in Haverhill which happened yesterday.
The incident happened in an alleyway off High Street between 2.30pm and 2.45pm.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was helped at the scene by members of the public and police would like to hear from these people who may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
A 25-year-old woman from Haverhill and 38-year-old man from Haverhill were arrested on suspicion of robbery yesterday evening in relation to this incident and are currently being held in custody at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.
Witnesses to this incident and the people who assisted the victim are asked to contact PC Chris Button at Bury St Edmunds on 101 quoting HH/14/600 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
