Police urge people to think about alcohol
Monday, 19th October 2009.
Alcohol Awareness Week starts today and Suffolk police are doing their bit by encouraging people to ‘rethink their drink’.
The campaign is being runn by the constabulary's Suffolk Constabulary’s Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs).
Public events are being held across the county and some places, though not Haverhill, have a Police pod touring the area. the nearest is Sudbury on Thursday.
The weeklong initiative is part of the Government’s ‘Know Your Limits’ campaign, which encourages people to take note of how much
they drink during an average week.
