Police seek teenager who accosted a little girl
Thursday, 30th June 2011.
Police are asking for help to trace a teenage boy who led away an eight-year-old girl to a wooden area on Monday afternoon.
The incident happened at School Lane, Haverhill between 5pm and 5.30pm Monday, when the girl was in a park area with other children and an older boy approached her.
He took her hand and walked her to a wooded area where he then left her. He did not say anything to the girl and she was unhurt.
The boy is described as around 15, of thin build, approximately 5ft 2in and with ginger, spiky hair.
