Police seek owner of dog which bit woman

Police in Haverhill are appealing for a dog-owner to come forward after a woman was injured.
The incident occurred near the Newt Pond in School Lane at around 7.35pm on Saturday, July 21.
A brown dog with short fur attacked the victim’s own dog which she was walking in the area.
The woman, in her 30s, attempted to remove her dog from the attack when she was bitten on the forefinger, resulting in a bruise. Neither dog was injured in the incident.
The owner of the offending dog is described as a white woman in her mid-50s. She had brown bobbed hair and was carrying a red dog lead.
