Police hunt store raiders

Thieves stole cigarettes after breaking into the petrol station at Sainsbury’s Haverhill store in the early hours of Monday.
Steve Chadwick, store manager, said there had been a break-in at around 3am, which activated the alarm system.
Glass had been smashed at the front of the petrol station store and cigarettes were stolen.
A Suffolk police spokesman confirmed that the incident had been reported to them at 2.5l am.
Three people were seen in the area, all described as wearing dark clothing.
They ran off across the forecourt in the direction of the flood park on the other side of the A1307.
The petrol station remained closed until 11 am so that it could be examined by police forensic officers.
