Pinter classic comes to arts centre

A landmark in 20th century theatre comes to Haverhill Arts Centre later this month.
Harold Pinter’s compelling study of loneliness and power games, The Caretaker was first performed at The Arts Theatre, London, in 1960. Fifty years on, Pinter’s play still has the capacity to amuse, to shock and to fascinate.
London Classic Theatre interpret the story of Davies, an elderly drifter, the kindly but vulnerable Aston, and, Aston’s quick-witted, streetwise younger brother, Mick.
The three men gradually reveal their pasts and a battle of wits begins that has consequences for them all.
