Pinocchio pulls in hundreds

THE classic tale of Pinocchio, the puppet who came to life, kept youngsters at the Haverhill Arts Centre spell-bound last week.
Applause Productions staged their colourful version of the story at the centre with songs, colourful costumes and plenty of audience participation.
Holiday shows at the centre have proved so popular in the past that two sessions were held and a total of 250 children, aged from three upwards, enjoyed them.
The next children’s show at the centre will be Little Angel Theatre’s charming puppet show Cindermouse on Saturday December, 8 and Chaplin’s Pant’s will present Cinderella from Thursday, December 27 to Saturday, December 29. For more details ring the box office on (01440) 714140.
