Now we are five, let's all have a party
Friday, 2nd April 2010.
All Haverhill children who celebrate their fifth birthday this year are invited to a birthday party at Haverhill Leisure Centre on Sunday, April 11.
Abbeycroft Leisure, which operates Haverhill Leisure Centre, is sharing its own fifth birthday with children in the town who also turn five this year.
The party, which takes place in the sports hall, will feature a host of entertainment including a bouncy castle, face painting, children’s disco, children’s entertainer, and a special appearance by Abbeycroft’s mascot Scales the Dragon.
There will also be free juice and nibbles for the children and each child will receive a balloon.
Warren Smyth, chief executive of Abbeycroft Leisure, said: “We want to share our fifth birthday with all those children in the town who celebrate their fifth birthday this year.
“This is just one of the many activities we have lined up for our birthday celebrations and one way of showing our appreciation to the community who have supported us.”
The party, from 2pm to 4pm, is open to all children living in Haverhill and surrounding villages who were born in 2005.
Places must be booked in advance. Just visit the Leisure Centre with proof of your child’s birth date and they will be added to the guest list. Children will only be admitted with parent supervision.
