New term starts after revamp
Thursday, 13th September 2001.
THE new term has started positively following some excellent GCSE, A-Level and Key Stage 3 results.
Year nine is our largest ever, but they all seem to have integrated well and the atmosphere has been very calm.
Year 10 and 12 have settled quickly into their GCSE courses and the sixth form have been involved in three days induction including a residential at Hill Top in North Norfolk.
The new building programme is almost complete with the new drama studio, upgraded library, technology area, science labs and dining room being officially opened at out technology college launch.
With a new name, new logo and some outstanding new staff, Samuel Ward Upper School and Technology College is ready for the new term.
