New survey planned of how town centre is used
Thursday, 2nd September 2010.
A new project for gauging the behaviour patterns of people who use Haverhill town centre is to be introduced to business people in the town soon.
As part of the Best of Haverhill's regular theme at monthly meetings - Wanting The Best For Haverhill, town centre manager Tina Hanks will be the guest speaker.
She will be launching the new project, called the Haverhill Town Centre Survey. It is a partnership initiative involving some of the town’s independent retailers, businesses, business organisations and business support agencies, co-ordinated by the town centre manager with input from Dr Andrew Fearne, professor of food marketing and supply chain management at Kent Business School.
The aim of the survey, which has been initiated by businesses, is to provide quantitative and qualitative data on visitor behaviour patterns in the town centre.
Elaine Carr, of the Best of Haverhill, said: "This is an exciting initiative for Haverhill and it is hoped that the business community will give their support to the project by encouraging their employees and contacts to participate in the survey."
