New consultation on how council tax is spent
Wednesday, 18th January 2012.
There's another chance to be consulted on how we want a council to spend our money.
Haverhill residents are being asked their views on the plans that St Edmundsbury Borough Council is proposing for the next four years, when resources will be reduced and demand is likely to increase.
The council’s 2012 to 2016 corporate plan sets out its short to medium term priorities, commitments and actions.
A wide range of organisations and individuals are now being asked for their thoughts about its proposals.
Council leader Cllr John Griffiths said: “The public has an important role advising on what we are proposing and has the opportunity here to comment on actions which can have a big impact over a wide area.“
The document and specific consultation questions are available on-line, http://www.stedmundsbury.gov.uk/sebc/say/ConsultationHome.cfm
The consultation lasts until February 15.
