Networking event meets at another new venue
Monday, 4th August 2014.
The bestof Haverhill will hold its next business meeting on Thursday, August 21, from 10.00am to 11.30am at The Burton Centre, the new St Nicholas Hospice Care Outreach facility in Haverhill.
The centre was opened in May by St Nicholas Hospice Care to provide an outreach service for the people of Haverhill and the surrounding area.
Local businesses and organisations are invited to attend a presentation on the work of the Burton Centre, to have a tour of the facilities and will have the opportunity to network with other local businesses over coffee and cake.
Elaine Carr, owner of thebestof Haverhill, said: “Running events during the summer is always a bit tricky as people are on holiday or find it difficult to get out of the office as they are covering for colleagues who are away.
"We had a break from our events programme in July but feel it is important to provide local businesses with an opportunity to get together during the summer period.
"We were invited by St Nicholas Hospice to have a tour of their new facility in Haverhill and thought August would be an ideal time to take up their kind offer as it is something from our usual events.
"I hope that local businesses will take the opportunity to hear more about the centre and the fantastic work that it does in our community.”
