Networking and Christmas shopping combined

Breaking with the usual speaker format, Best of Haverhill owner Elaine Carr says the Christmas Marketplace provides an opportunity to showcase local businesses.
Elaine said: “Our business members are all local, independent businesses who have been recommended by local people.
"They offer a wide range of services from holidays to jewellery, from accountancy to legal services.
"The Christmas Marketplace is an ideal way to let the business community experience what a fantastic range of products and services we have available locally.
"A number of businesses will be offering goods for sale so it is a chance to do any last minute Christmas shopping or even a make a start!”
Arevolution beauty sanctuary will have a selection of beauty products, cosmetics, Christmas gift sets and gift vouchers for massages and beauty treatments.
Local wine merchant C2C Wines will be on hand offering advice and guidance on the best wines to compliment your Christmas dinner as well as selling high quality wines specially imported from local vignerons in the Languedoc region of France.
A number of companies will be offering gift vouchers for their services including photographer David Doughty and Travel Counsellor Jennifer Bradnam.
Indigo Hypnotherapy and Counselling also offer gift vouchers for hypnotherapy sessions which can be used to help people lose weight, stop smoking, gain confidence or overcome phobias.
Local florist Fiona Pilcher will be selling festive handmade wreaths and floral arrangements and jeweller Tony Strowger will be at the event with a selection of beautiful silver jewellery, and the highly popular SilveRado bracelets and beads as well as some of his custom pieces.
Embroidery specialists K & A Designs offer a range of personalised embroidered gifts, from cute teddies to smart document carriers and guarantee that orders taken at the event will be fulfilled in time for Christmas delivery.
Elaine said: “I appreciate this is a busy time of year for many people but I hope local businesses will join us for a coffee and a mince pie or two.
"Thebestofhaverhill supports local charities wherever possible and we have decided to use the Christmas Marketplace to hold a raffle to raise money for the Community First Responders.
"Margaret Marks, who runs the Scheme in Haverhill, has been invited to give a short overview on the valuable service that the charity provides in Haverhill.”
