MP Takes Part In School Visit Scheme
Thursday, 29th April 2004.
It was back to the classroom for MP Richard Spring as he took part in MPs Back to School Day, visiting three schools in his constituency.
The campaign was organised by the Global Campaign for Education, supported by a number of charities and teaching unions, and was designed to highlight the millions of children across the world who are missing an education.
Mr Spring gave a short talk on being an MP at Burton End Primary School, then joined in activities at St Felix Roman Catholic Primary School, both in Haverhill.
He also visited All Saints School in Newmarket.
Mr Spring said: "I am delighted to have been invited by these schools to take part in the MPs Back to School Day.
