MP presents Tesco computer equipment to schools
Wednesday, 23rd November 2011.
Haverhill's MP Matthew Hancock was on hand at Tesco on FRiday to present computer equipment from the store to four town schools.
It was part of Tesco's ongoing Computers For Schools scheme. Four Haverhill schools - Westfield, Place Farm, Coupals and Burton End - have participated in the scheme this year, and pupils and teachers from each were present to receive the equipment.
Mr Hancock said:“I am glad to present the equipment to these schools. It is essential that schoolchildren have first-class equipment and software to enhance their learning.
"The scheme run by Tesco is an excellent initiative and I hope the schools benefit from it enormously.”
