Medical equipment stolen from a car
Tuesday, 1st January 2013.
Police are appealing for information after medical equipment was stolen from a vehicle in Haverhill.
Offenders broke into a car in the Burton End area on Saturday morning, December 29, and stole a rucksack containing medical equipment, prescription drugs and clothing.
Most of the equipment was found beneath an underpass in Greenfields Way later on in the day, but the bag, drugs and clothing are still missing.
The drugs include morphine, diazepam and cardiac drugs, and a set of needles was also in the bag. These drugs could cause serious harm if injected or ingested.
Officers want to speak to anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of the bag and its contents - the bag is fluorescent yellow and it and the clothing bear the ambulance service emblem.
Anyone with information can contact Haverhill Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
