Man in electric buggy abused woman and children.

AN ELDERLY man on an electric buggy is said to have sworn at and harassed a woman and her children in Haverhill.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which occurred on Lordscroft Lane at about noon on Monday, October 28.
A 25-year-old woman from Haverhill was walking along Lordscroft Lane when she was approached from behind and verbally abused and harassed by a man aged between 65 and 70, riding an electric buggy.
He is described as white, well built or chubby, with short white hair.
He was wearing a dark blue baseball cap and a dark blue jacket. The buggy was bottle green with a shopping basket on front.
The woman was walking with her four-year-old son and her one-year-old daughter in a pushchair.
Police said it appears to be a particularly nasty and unnecessary incident. Anyone with information should contact Pc Donald Roberds on (01284) 774100.
