Man arrested after sex assault on 16-year-old

Haverhill police have arrested a man on suspicion of a sex assault on a female following an incident in Haverhill in June.
The alleged incident occurred at around 1am on Sunday, June 29, in a car park near the junction of Duddery Road and High Street.
The victim, a 16-year-old, was waiting for a taxi with a friend when she was approached by a man who indecently assaulted her.
Police have arrested a 38-year-old man from the town on suspicion of sex assault on a female. He has been questioned at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
He is due to return to the Police Investigation Centre on November 24.
