Man, 51, attacked by group of youths

Police in Haverhill are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in the town at the weekend.
The incident occurred between 1.30am and 1.40am yesterday, in Vange Place along the footpath running from the KFC restaurant.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, was walking along the path when he was assaulted by a group of three or four people, who pushed him to the floor where he was then kicked and punched.
The victim sustained a swollen cheek and other facial bruising, along with grazes to his hands as a result of this attack.
The attackers are described as a group of three or four white males, aged between 16 and 20. It is believed one of them was wearing a grey hooded top.
