Man, 26, who died in crash yesterday named

A 26-year-old man who died following a single vehicle accident in Homefield Road yesterday has been named as Peter James, from Haverhill.
Police were contacted by the ambulance service around 11.45am yesterday, to reports a car had collided with a tree near the Moon Hall Lane junction.
Mr James was found inside the yellow/gold coloured Renault Clio and efforts were made to resuscitate him but he was pronounced deceased at the scene at 12.20pm.
The road was closed until around 3.30pm while an initial investigation got underway at the scene.
Police are continuing to ask anyone who was in the area around this time to come forward if they saw the vehicle prior to the collision or the crash itself.
Anyone who can help is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Suffolk Police by dialling 101.
